This CD has a combination of Mack's early demo recordings made in New England in the early 1980's plus some tracks recorded in the mid-1990's with musicians from Mary Chapin Carpenter's band, including Jon Carroll and John Jennings, and a last song written with the late Buddy Renfro. 

A mixture of upbeat fun and beautiful insightful poignancy.
